45. Job 2:1-2

Job 2:1-2
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
And the Lord said to Satan, "From where do you come?"
Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it."

So there are more than one of these days in which the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord. I wonder how many there are, and how often they happen, and why? Are these sons of God angels? The amplified Bible version thinks so. God still makes Himself sound clueless by asking where Satan has been while Satan still sounds like he has a patience problem, or ADD or something, all that walking back and forth.

Well, Lord God, we know You are the smartest and wisest one of all, Wisdom Himself, but it's quite possible Satan is an impatient one. Thank You Father for protecting us from being stomped upon as Satan walks to and for. Thank You that even though You know every little thing about us already, you don't mind repetition,  in fact, You would love to hear us tell You everything. Lord, please give me the words to be able to talk with You, in the privacy of home or in Bible study, but also to always remember to glorify You.
